LaMacchia was 15-2 for San Antonio (Texas League) in 1942 but appeared in only 16 ML games, mostly as a wartime reliever. He scouted briefly for the Phillies before working for the Braves from 1961 to 1975. He has been with the Blue Jays since their inception in 1977. His signees and discoveries include Rick Mahler and Bruce Benedict. (FVP)
