Keough played semi-pro ball in Canada before signing with Oakland in 1966, the last
year in the majors for his brother Marty. Joe homered in his first ML at-bat but'Q-(((rarely
thereafter. In 1971 he hit .248 in 110 games for the Royals in his best season.
