Kennedy struck out 456 for Rocky Mount in the Western Carolinas League in 1946. He went 8-8 his rookie year with Cleveland and St. Louis, but wildness dogged his career. As a White Sox reliever in 1952, he led the AL with 47 appearances, but his record was otherwise undistinguished. (BC)
