Jones was 4-4 with two shutouts and a 2.00 ERA after a his 1954 call-up by the Cardinals. He was traded with Red Scoendienst in one of GM Frank Lane's many unpopular trades, a six-for-three deal with the Giants. Jones later scouted for the Yankees. (FO)
