In the mid-1930s, Jensen teamed with Paul and Lloyd Waner in the Pittsburgh outfield. He was called Woody as a play on Forrest, and because (from Bremerton, Washington) he once played in the Timber League. The lefthanded hitter rarely walked and set a ML record with 696 at-bats in 1936, batting leadoff with Lloyd dropping to second. (ME)
