» September 8, 1993: Houston's Darryl Kile no-hits the Mets, winning by a score of 7-1. He fans nine and walks 1. Mets 3B Butch Huskey becomes the 3rd player in history to make his major league debut on the losing end of a no-hitter. Byron Browne and Don Young of the Cubs did so in Sandy Koufax's perfect game in 1965.

» May 11, 1997: The Mets ride pinch power to a 6–4 win over the Cardinals. Carl Everett, batting for Manny Alexander, hits a 2-run pinch homer in the 9th and Butch Huskey, hitting for Cory Lidle, follows with another pinch homer.

» June 29, 1997: John Olerud hits two homers and Butch Huskey, Matt Franco and Todd Hundley also homer during a nine-run Mets' comeback over the last three innings as they edge the Pirates, 10–8. For Franco, his home run is his 6th straight successful pinch-hit. Kevin Young is 4-for-5, including a homer, for the Bucs. John Franco picks up his 19th save, and the 342nd of his career, putting him in 4th place on the all-time save list.

» December 14, 1998: The Mets trade OF Butch Huskey to the Mariners in exchange for minor league P Lesli Brea.

» May 17, 1999: The Mariners defeat the Twins, 15-5, as LF Butch Huskey gets four hits, including two homers, and drives home seven runs. DH Edgar Martinez also hits a pair of 4-baggers for Seattle and scores five times.

» June 9, 1999: In a game featuring 10 home runs, the Rockies defeat the Mariners by a score of 16-11. Butch Huskey, Ken Griffey Jr., David Bell, and David Segui homer for Seattle. Angel Echevarria homers twice for the Rockies, who also get round-trippers from Edgard Clemente, Kurt Abbott, Dante Bichette, and P Curtis Leskanic.

» July 26, 1999: The Red Sox obtain OF Butch Huskey from the Mariners in exchange for minor league P Robert Ramsey.

» August 4, 1999: The Mariners send vet Butch Huskey to Boston for AAA pitcher Robert Ramsey. Tomorrow, the send vet 1B David Segui to Toronto for minor leaguers Tom Davey and Steve Sinclair.

» July 16, 2000: The Rockies obtain OF Butch Huskey and 2B Todd Walker from the Twins for IF Todd Sears and cash.
