The Cardinals drafted Huntz from the Orioles' organization in December 1964 after
he showed fine fielding skills in his first pro season, but he broke a leg in spring
training and missed all of 1965. His only significant ML action came with the Padres
in their sophomore season, 1970, when he had career highs of .219, 11 HR, and 54
runs.
