» June 15, 1987: In Pittsburgh's 3–1 win over the Cardinals, Pirate base runner Jim Morrison sets a major-league record by getting caught stealing home twice in the 8th inning. The first time he makes it back to 3B on an error, but it goes as a caught steal. Undaunted, he tries to steal again on reliever Ricky Horton and is out at home.
