» May 27, 1991: In a game against the Portland Beavers at Civic Stadium, Portland, Vancouver OF Rodney McCray runs through a plywood fence in right field while trying to catch a ball hit by Chip Hale. McCray was not hurt seriously, but becomes an instant celebrity as the play is shown repeatedly on newscasts across the country.
