Plucked off the Pittsburgh sandlots, Bobby was part of the Pirates' youth parade
in the early 1950s. Considered one of the top defensive outfielders of his era, the
speedy Del Greco made a great catch for the Cardinals late in the 1956 season against
the Braves that aided the Dodgers in winning the pennant.
