» May 15, 1997: The Chicago Cubs hit four triples—three in the same inning—to beat the visiting Padres, 8-2. The Cubs score four runs in the 7th off Tim Scott as Brian McRae, Doug Glanville and Sammy Sosa all triple.

» December 23, 1997: The Cubs trade OF Doug Glanville to the Phillies for 2B Mickey Morandini.

» September 15, 1999: The Phillies defeat the Astros, 8-6, as OF Doug Glanville gets five hits, including a double and home run, for the victors. The loss snaps the Astros 12-game win streak, a club record.

» May 4, 2000: The Phillies bash the Reds, 14-1, as OF Doug Glanville gets five hits. The Phils tie the major-league record by hitting four consecutive doubles in the 1st inning.
