Geisel was a reliever with no outstanding pitch who was primarily used to get out lefthanded hitters. He had trouble staying healthy, broke an ankle in 1980 and a collarbone in 1981, and spent only one full season in the majors - 1983 with Toronto (0-3, five saves). (MC)
