As a rookie with the 1973 Brewers, Garcia tied for the AL lead with 32 doubles and
was runner-up to Al Bumbry in AL Rookie of the Year voting. The native Puerto Rican
hit just .199 as Milwaukee's everyday second baseman in 1974.
