A regular shortstop in only two seasons, Fisher did not hit well enough to compensate
for his errors and lack of range; in 1913 with Brooklyn, he led the NL with 52 errors.
Bob's brother, Newt Fisher, was a longtime minor league catcher, manager, and umpire.
