Fischlin hit a career-high .268 as Cleveland's regular shortstop in 1982 but spent the rest of his career as a journeyman utility infielder. In 1978 for the Astros, he tied an odd NL record by handling just one chance in two consecutive games at shortstop (June 18, 20). (MM)
