The Dominican was the ace of the miserable Mets of 1977-78. He beat the Phils 1-0 on a three-hitter, driving in the only run on September 14, 1977. Philadelphia traded for him in 1979, and he had a career-best 14-12. Bothered by arm trouble early in the Phillies' 1980 World Championship season, he returned to the minors, missing post-season play. (MC)
