A graduate of the University of Chicago and the son of radio comedian Harry (Parkyakarkas) Einstein, Charles Einstein worked for INS (1945-1953), San Francisco newspapers, and Sport Magazine, and edited the first wire-service news reports especially for television. In addition to novels, he has published four books with or about Willie Mays, and also co-authored books with Juan Marichal and Orlando Cepeda. (NLM)
