Edwards won a regular job with Oakland in 1978, when he had a 17-game hitting streak.
On August 8 of that year he set an AL record with two unassisted double plays in
one game. He lost his job after leading the league in errors in both '78 and '79.
Mike's twin, Marshall, and their younger brother, Dave, also played ML baseball.
