Son of Negro League outfielder/pitcher Artist Demery, Larry broke into the Pirate
rotation a few days after turning 21. He was 7-5 (2.90) in 1975, mostly in long relief,
and 10-7 (3.17) in 1976. A 1977 arm injury ended his career.
