Davidson's best season came as an extra outfielder on the 1987 World Champion Twins. He hit .267 and played errorlessly in the outfield. In May 1989 he was traded to Houston for a player to be named. His father, Max, was a minor league outfielder from 1947 to 1954. (SFS)
