The Mets pick up Jason Isringhausen on the 44th round.
» July 22, 1995: White Sox SS Ozzie Guillen shoves Brewers Jeff Cirillo at 3B touching off a bench-clearing brawl. The highlight is the two managers, Phil Garner and Terry Bevington, swinging at each other. Chicago goes on to a 4-2 victory.
» June 28, 1998: Milwaukee 3B Jeff Cirillo gets five hits and drives in two runs, but it's not enough to keep the Brewers from losing a 10–8 decision to the White Sox.

» June 18, 2000: The Rockies defeat the Diamondbacks, 19-2, as Colorado Mike Lansing completes the cycle by the 4th inning. Lansing has an RBI triple in the 1st, a 2-run home run in the 2nd, a 2-run double in the 3rd, and a single in the 4th as Colorado stroked a team-record 23 hits. 3B Jeff Cirillo gets five hits for the Rockies, including a home run, while Brent Mayne has 4. The Rocks total 10 extra base hits, one short of yesterday's total against the D'Backs. The win moves the Rockies into 1st place in the NL West, percentage points ahead of the Diamondbacks.
» June 28, 2000: The Rockies overcome a 7-run deficit to defeat the visiting Giants, 17-13, as 3B Jeff Cirillo slugs a double and three home runs, drives home six runs, and scores five himself. Cirillo's 3rd homer, a 2-run shot off John Johnstone, breaks a 12–12 tie.

» September 18, 2001: The Rockies came back from a 6-0 deficit in the first inning deficit, in which they make five errors, and pound Curt Schilling to defeat the Diamondbacks 10-9. The Rocks win it on dramatic back-to-back homers by Todd Helton and Jeff Cirillo off Byung-Hyun Kim in the bottom of the 9th. The DBacks lead over SF is now just one 1/2 games.
