    » May 4, 1991: Mackey Sasser and Mark Carreon stroke consecutive pinch home runs in the Mets' 6-4, 12-inning win over the Giants. It is the first time the feat has been performed in the National League since 1975.

    » January 22, 1992: The Mets trade OF Mark Carreon and P Tony Castillo to the Tigers in exchange for P Paul Gibson and Randy Marshall.

    » January 13, 1993: The Giants sign free agents Todd Benzinger and Mark Carreon.

    » April 7, 1996: Mark Carreon drives home six runs on two homers, one a grand slam, to lead the Giants to a 14–7 gaffing of the Marlins. Jeff Conine and Andre Dawson, with his 30th 4-hit game, each have four hits for the Fish. The win goes to Steve Bourgeois, who wins his first in the majors with two 1/3 scoreless innings.

    » July 1, 1996: In San Francisco, Barry Bonds and Mark Carreon homer to lead the Giants to a 9–6 win over the Rockies. The win snaps a 10-game losing streak, the longest for the Giants since a 10-game skein in 1985 and a 13-game losing streak in 1944.
