As a rookie in 1974, Buskey was traded from the Yankees to the Indians and set a
since-broken Cleveland record with 17 saves. After four seasons with Cleveland, he
went to the minors, but re-emerged with the early Blue Jays, notching 7 of its staff's
11 saves during the dreadful 1979 season. Two of Buskey's three wins in 1980 came
in a
doubleheader against Cleveland.
