As a Royals farmhand, 6'5" Tom Bruno threw seven-inning no-hitters in the Midwest League in 1972 and in the Southern League in 1974. An original Blue Jay, he was traded to St. Louis in 1978 and recorded a 1.98 ERA in 18 appearances, but was hit hard in 1979 and demoted. (MC)
