Slow-footed slugger Brouhard was a reserve outfielder and DH for the Brewers. In the fourth game of the 1982 LCS, he played for injured Ben Oglivie after 28 days of inactivity. He had three hits, including a homer and three RBI, and tied an AL record with four runs scored. In 1986 he played for the Yakult Swallows of Japan's Central League (.258, 21 HR, 64 RBI) but was dropped from their roster in 1987 to make room for Bob Horner. (MC)
