Brillheart spent only parts of four seasons in the ML, but his career lasted from 1921 (with Greenville, SC of the Sally League) through 1946 (with San Diego of the Pacific Coast League). He is one of the few pitchers to work in over 1,000 games - 928 in the minors and 86 in the majors. (NLM)
