Returning from arm trouble, Bradford had an 0.95 ERA in 21 relief appearances in 1979. On his way to a 2.45 ERA in 56 appearances (with 4 saves) in 1980, he held opponents to 1.08 in his home park at Atlanta, one of the best hitters' parks in the NL. (MC)
