Bradford provided speed, power, and defense, mostly as a fourth outfielder. On April
25, 1969, he became only the fourth White Sox player to hit a home run over the Comiskey
Park roof, pounding one off the Twins' Tom Hall. Bradford hit a career-high 11 HR
that season, during the first of his three stints with the White Sox.
