Two of the homers are back to back pinch homers by Keith Lockhart and Javy Lopez‚ off Bob Wickman‚ and two outs later Walt Weiss homers. The win goes to Rudy Seanez‚ in relief of starter Greg Maddux‚ who throws 7 shutout innings.

    Aug 18, 1998 - Greg Maddux wins his 200th game as the Braves double up the Giants‚ 8-4. Maddux allows one earned run to lower his NL best ERA to 1.65. In a rarity‚ the Braves collect 9 hits-all doubles. Gerald WilliamsDanny Bautista and Walt Weiss have 2 apiece‚ while Eddie Perez drives in 3 runs with another.
