The Pirates drop 8 runs on the relievers to win 9-0. In a pregame race Phils OF Stan Benjamin wins the 100 yard dash beating Ernie Koy Danny Murtaugh Johnny Barrett and Stu Martin in 10.2 seconds.
Jun 6, 1936 - Stu Martin Cardinals rookie 2B has his 17-game hitting streak stopped but ties the ML mark with 11 assists in the first game 4-3 loss of a St. Louis-New York doubleheader.
