The 6'3" Jolley had over 100 RBI in two of his four ML seasons, but his fielding
was subject to ridicule. However, the story about a line drive going through his
legs, bouncing off the wall and again threading his wickets, then him throwing wildly,
adding up to three errors, is undocumented. His fielding lapses were tolerated in
the minors, where he led his league in batting six times.
