Notes: Olmedo claimed by Phillies: Infielder Ray Olmedo, who had been designated for assignment by the Pirates on Sunday, was claimed off waivers by the Phillies on Tuesday. With the loss of Olmedo, it is likely that either Josh Wilson or Luis Rivas will earn one of the five spots on the bench.
