    Morg Murphy

Murphy was a light-hitting catcher who played in four major leagues, one of 29 to do so. He is best remembered for the time when, after his playing days were over, he was caught red-handed stealing opponents' signals. The Reds' third base coach, Tom Corcoran, had unlodged some dirt in the coach's box and found a wire that led to Murphy in the clubhouse. He was using an electrical buzzer to relay stolen signals back to his club's third base coach. (AJA)
