The AL's 1967 Fireman of the Year, the Cuban-born Rojas was 12-9 with a league-leading 27 saves. He was felled by a sore arm the next season, and his career ended tragically in 1970 when he was paralyzed (and his two young daughters killed) in a car accident. (JCA)
