    Jun 6, 1955 - The White Sox trade veteran P Harry Dorish to the Orioles for C Les Moss.

    Sep 22, 1953 - Satchel Paige celebrates his official 46th birthday by starting against the Tigers and going 7 innings to win‚ 7-3‚ in what will be his final ML victory.
