    Lerrin LaGrow

LaGrow earned his first call-up to the majors by being named Southern League Player of the Year in 1970. In his only two seasons as a starting pitcher, he went 8-19 (1974) and 7-14 (1975), prompting the Tigers to give up on him. After returning to the AL with the White Sox in 1977, he was the ace of their bullpen for two seasons; he finished third in the AL with 25 saves in '77. (WOR)
