Jul 15, 1933 - The Senators shut out the Browns in both ends of a doubleheader‚ winning the opener 1-0 behind Lefty Stewart‚ and taking the 2nd game 2-0 to back up Bobby Burke.

Dec 14, 1932 - The Senators swap Sammy West‚ Carl Reynolds‚ and Lloyd Brown‚ along with $20‚000‚ to the Browns for former Senator Goose Goslin‚ lefthander Walter "Lefty" Stewart‚ and OF Fred Schulte. They also get Earl Whitehill from Detroit for Firpo Marberry and Carl Fischer.

Jun 30, 1927 - Alphonse "Tommy" Thomas pitches a 5-1 win over the Browns‚ the 6th time this season that the White Sox pitcher has beaten St. Louis. He last beat them on June 22. Lefty Stewart‚ who gives up a homer to Earl Sheely in the 6th‚ takes the loss.
