Notes: Greene progressing nicely: The injury to Khalil Greene's left middle finger has lingered for so long, the shortstop almost wondered if it was ever going to be healthy. While Greene wasn't about to proclaim his finger 100 percent on Thursday, it's as good as it has felt all spring.
Young sharp in second spring outing: Adrian Gonzalez and Khalil Greene had RBI singles in the first inning off 2006 Cy Young winner Brandon Webb. Chris Young was noticeably sharper in his second spring outing, allowing one run on two hits with three strikeouts.
