John Frascatore from the Chronology
Jul 1, 1999 - In Toronto's 8-6 win over Baltimore Blue Jays P John Frascatore ties a major league mark with his 3rd win in 3 consecutive appearances in 3 days.
Jun 12, 1999 - The Diamondbacks obtain veteran lefty Dan Plesac from the Blue Jays in exchange for SS Tony Batista and P John Frascatore.
May 21, 1999 - At Coors Field, Larry Walker’s third hit of the game is an 11th inning walkoff homer off of John Frascatore to give the Rockies an 8-7 win over the Diamondbacks. Todd Helton has 4 hits for the Rocks. Walker’s 21-game hit streak will end tomorrow but he bats .506 (41-for-81) during the streak, the first .500 average during a 20-game hit streak since Bob "Fats" Fothergill, in 1927 (as noted by Trent McCotter).
May 16, 1997 - Michael Tucker's 2-out double in the 9th breaks up Alan Benes' no-hitter. Benes unfortunately is matched against Greg Maddux who holds the Cards scoreless for 8 innings. The Braves finally push across a run in the 13th on Andruw Jones' infield dribbler to beat Cardinals reliever John Frascatore 1-0. The teams combine for 33 strikeouts three shy of matching the NL record for an extra-inning game set by the Giants and Mets in 23-innings in 1964.
