Joe Tumelty

Tumelty began in 1923 with the Philadelphia Public Ledger and later wrote for the Sun and Inquirer. He was one of the first to do a daily sports show on radio, featuring interviews with stars of baseball and other sports, beginning in 1929 on station WFI. (NLM)
