Dec 24, 2006 - The Brewers sign free agent P Jeff Suppan to a 4 year, $42 million contract, with an option for 2011.
Oct 19, 2006 - Yadier Molina’s 2-run HR in the 9th inning is the deciding blow as the Cardinals defeat the Mets, 3-1, to win the NLCS and move on to the WS. Randy Flores gets the win in relief. Jeff Suppan is named NLCS MVP.
Oct 14, 2006 - The Cardinals take a 2-games-to-1 lead over the Mets in the NLCS, winning by a score of 5-0 behind Jeff Suppan. Suppan also homers to help his cause.
Oct 10, 2004 - The Cardinals top the Dodgers 6-2 to win their Division Series and move on to the NLCS. Jeff Suppan hurls 7 innings of 2-hit ball for St. Louis. Albert Pujols and Reggie Sanders homer for the Cardinals and Jason Werth for LA.

Jul 31, 2003 - Did you guys even unpack? The Pirates trade pitchers Brandon Lyon and to the Red Sox for left-hander Mike Gonzalez. Just a week ago, the Red Sox had swapped Lyon and Martinez to the Pirates for Gonzalez, but Lyon had a sore arm and the deal was rescinded. Whoops. On the mulligan today, the Pirates add pitcher Jeff Suppan‚ while Boston throws in minor league infielder Freddy Sanchez. Suppan will start just 10 games for the Sox, while Sanchez and Gonzalez will star for the Bucs.

Sep 27, 1999 - With each of the Tigers wearing the uniform numbers of all-time Detroit players at their position (OF Gabe Kapler standing in for Ty Cobb wears no number) the Tigers defeat the Royals 8-2 in the last game ever played at Tiger Stadium. Rob Fick's grand slam in the 8th brings the capacity crowd of 43356 to its feet. Luis Polonia and Karim Caria also homer as Brian Moehler beats Jeff Suppan.
Apr 19, 1998 - Florida Marlins rookie 3B Kevin Millar makes his first major league start against the Diamondbacks. On the first pitch he sees from Jeff Suppan Millar swings and hits a foul ball. In doing so he breaks the hamate bone in his left hand sending him to the DL. Florida goes on to defeat Arizona 4-3.
