Kofoed was one of America's most prolific magazine writers, contributing articles and fiction to 200 magazines. He did movie and radio writing as well. He began in 1912 with the Philadelphia Ledger and Record, then moved to New York, where he was a columnist for the Post from 1924 to 1933. He later was a feature columnist for the Miami Herald. (NLM)
