    Jack Graney

The stocky, 5'9" Graney, a sharp-eyed leadoff man, played his full 14-year career for Cleveland. The converted pitcher led the AL in doubles in 1916, and in walks in 1917 and 1919.

When his playing days ended Graney became the first ex-major leaguer to move to the broadcasting booth. He became a popular Indians play-by-play announcer. (JK)
