    Apr 1, 2006 - The Rangers trade OF David Dellucci to the Phillies in exchange for P Robinson Tejeda and OF Jake Blalock, brother of Texas OF Hank.

    Aug 31, 2005 - The Rangers defeat the White Sox‚ 9-2. SS Michael Young hits his 20th HR of the year for Texas‚ joining the other 3 members of the Rangers infield in performing the feat. The quartet of Young‚ 1B Mark Teixeira‚ 2B Alfonso Soriano‚ 3B Hank Blalock‚ and SS Young also accomplished the deed last season. Prior to that‚ the 1940 Red Sox were the only other club to perform the feat.

    May 21, 2005 - The Rangers explode for 8 runs in the 2nd inning on their way to an 18-3 win over the Astros. Mark TeixeiraRod BarajasHank Blalock‚ and Laynce Nix all homer in the frame to tie a club record.

    Jul 15, 2003 - The American League defeats the National League in the All-Star Game‚ 7-6‚ on Hank Blalock's 2-run homer in the bottom of the 8th inning. Anaheim's Garret Anderson gets a double and a HR for the AL and is named the games's MVP‚ while his Angels teammate Brendan Donnelly is the winning pitcher. Donnelly has now won a WS game and an All-star game‚ and yet has only one regular season career victory. His 2nd career win will come on July 28.
