    Garry Hancock

Drafted six times while in school, Hancock finally signed with Cleveland in 1976. After being traded to Boston, he won the International League batting championship for Pawtucket in 1979, but he never cracked the Red Sox all-star outfield of Jim Rice, Fred Lynn, and Dwight Evans. (RMu)
