Oct 11, 2005 - The Angels defeat the White Sox 3-2 in the opener of the ALCS. Paul Byrd gets the win for LA with the aid of a HR by Garret Anderson. Joe Crede homers for Chicago.
Oct 10, 2005 - The Angels beat the Yankees 5-3 to win their Division Series. Rookie Ervin Santana gets the win in relief of Bartolo Colon who is forced to leave the game in the 2nd inning with a shoulder injury. Garret Anderson homers for LA while Derek Jeter connects for NY.
Oct 7, 2005 - The Angels pound out 19 hits on their way to an 11-7 victory over the Yankees and a 2-games-to-1 lead in their Division Series. Bengie Molina hits his 3rd HR of the series for LA. Garret Anderson-who gets 4 hits and drives in 5 runs-also homers for the Angels. Derek Jeter and Hideki Matsui hit round-trippers for NY.
Aug 17, 2003 - The Angels down the Tigers 11-6 as Garret Anderson becomes the Angels' career hits leader. His 3 hits move him ahead of Brian Downing's club mark.
Jul 15, 2003 - The American League defeats the National League in the All-Star Game 7-6 on Hank Blalock's 2-run homer in the bottom of the 8th inning. Anaheim's Garret Anderson gets a double and a HR for the AL and is named the games's MVP while his Angels teammate Brendan Donnelly is the winning pitcher. Donnelly has now won a WS game and an All-star game and yet has only one regular season career victory. His 2nd career win will come on July 28.

Oct 27, 2002 - The Angels win their 1st WS ever as they defeat the Giants 4-1 in Game 7. Rookie John Lackey gets the Series-clinching win. Garret Anderson's bases loaded 2B in the 3rd inning scores 3 runs for Anaheim. Troy Glaus is named Series MVP.
Oct 2, 2002 - The Angels even their series with the Yankees at 1 game apiece by coming from behind to take an 8-6 decision. Anaheim gets HRs from Tim Salmon Garret Anderson Troy Glaus and Scott Spiezio while Alfonso Soriano and Derek Jeter stroke round-trippers for NY. Francisco Rodriguez gets his 1st ML win in relief.
Aug 27, 2000 - The Angels edge the Indians 10-9 as OF Tim Salmon hits his 30th HR of the year in the 5th inning. Anaheim become the first team in AL history to have 4 players (Troy Glaus Mo Vaughn Garret Anderson Salmon) reach the 30-homer mark in a single season. The Blue Jays are close with 2 hitters over 30 and 2 at 28. It's been done 7 times in the NL.
May 28, 2000 - The Angels defeat the Royals 8-4 smashing 4 HRs in a 6-run 5th inning. Darin Erstad hit the 1st then one out later Mo Vaughn Tim Salmon and Garret Anderson followed with consecutive blasts.
