Torre was known for his fielding, leading NL first basemen in fielding in 1957 and 1958, but on September 2, 1957 he tied a NL mark by scoring six runs in one game, and then hit two homers in the WS to help the Braves to victory over the Yankees. His younger brother Joe became a NL All-Star. (RTM)
