Floyd Rayford

A stocky reserve, Rayford was traded from the Orioles to the Cardinals in June 1983, then sold back to the Orioles before the 1984 season. He was outstanding in 1985, hitting .306 (50 points higher than his next-best season batting average) with 18 HR in 105 games, but spent most of 1986-87 at AAA Rochester (International League). (SCL)
