Wingard went 13-12 in his first season and his 3.51 ERA was the best on the Browns' staff. He never had another winning season, and he fell to 2-13 in his last year. He was a fair hitter, slugging .462 and batting .288 in 1925. He played three games in the outfield in his career and twice hit three homers in a season. (SH)
