Knetzer played a long time as a journeyman pitcher, compiling his best record with the Pittsburgh Federal League club in 1914 (19-11) after missing the entire 1913 season as a holdout. He continued pitching after leaving the majors and finished his career with Springfield of the Mid-Atlantic League in 1934 at the age of forty-nine. (MA)
